Furniture storage during renovations and new floors
New floors going down, rooms being decorated or building work under way? We collect your furniture before the work starts, keep it safe and clean in our warehouse, and bring it back when the job's finished.
Clear rooms, easier work
Get your furniture out of the way
Fitters can't lay a new floor around a sofa, and dust, paint and plaster have a habit of finding their way onto anything left in the room. Moving furniture from room to room means it's always in someone's way, and stacking it in the garage isn't much better.
We see it often: people storing their furniture while they have floors replaced, a kitchen fitted, an extension built, or a house redecorated from top to bottom. Clearing the rooms properly lets the trades get on with the job, and your furniture stays clean and undamaged until it comes home.

Work to your schedule
No fixed end date needed
Building work rarely finishes exactly on time. Because there's no minimum term, your furniture simply stays with us until the rooms are ready, whether that's a fortnight or several months. When the work's done, give us a call and we'll bring everything back and put it in the right rooms.
You can store a single room's worth or the whole house. We charge per job rather than per unit, and storage starts from £1.11 a day including VAT.
More room at home
Decluttering without getting rid of things
Sometimes there's no building work at all — you just need more space. Furniture you're keeping for a family member, pieces you're not ready to part with, or a spare room you want back. Rather than squeezing it into a loft or garage, we can collect it, store it safely and bring it back whenever you want it.

Storing during building work: your questions
What if the work overruns?
There's no minimum term and no fixed end date, so your furniture simply stays with us until you're ready. Call us when the work is finished and we'll book in the delivery.
Can I store just one or two rooms' worth of furniture?
Yes. We store any amount, from a single item to the contents of a 5-bedroom house, and charge per job rather than per unit.
Do I need to bring my furniture to you?
No. We collect from your home, store your furniture in our brick-built warehouse in Huddersfield, and deliver it back to your home when you're ready.
Is my furniture insured while it's in storage?
Yes. We provide comprehensive liability cover up to £25,000, extendable to £50,000 on request.
Planning some work?
Tell us roughly what needs to go into storage and when the work starts. We'll collect it, keep it safe and bring it back when you're ready.
